Why hi there~

Couldn't sleep the whole fucking night again, so I learned for my test on friday ... Japanese history.
Well just a part of it actually - the Meiji era and changes that happened during that time in particular.

Kinda interesting, but too much to learn ... how did I manage last semester for the Edo era? O_o ... oh yeah. Failed. Remember xD
Buuut then I pulled an all nighter right before the second exam date and made it through <3

Anyways.
Sooo ... urrrrm. I FINALLY got a new phone :3
And I lurff it so effing much!

So I wrote that post like two days ago and didn't post it - god knows why.
However so much happened the last days ... I'm overly excited!

Like I got my Vivienne Westwood Sunglasses yesterday and met an really old friend of mine <333

But the best:
I just went to sleep earlier, cause I was totally drained and figured I should sleep as much as a can before the test. But go figure - I couldn't sleep more than a few hours, since my throat started to hurt like crazy. So I'd get up and roam through my cupboard with the meds and didn't found anything I could use besides Lemsip and got really pissed, when I checked Facebook to ramble and one of my classmates asked, if I checked my mails before bed.
So I checked them and guess what!
I GOT TAKEN FOR THE EXCHANGE IN JAPAN!!!! <3
OH. MY. EFFING. GOD!

I'll be in Osaka, which means lot's of Osaka ben I really love, but no Akiba T____T
Sad sad ... anyways. At least I'm there =D

Of pralines and pesto~

Okay Thursdays bento consisted ooooof - tadaaaaaaah - wild salmon steaks with a green pesto crust, accompanied by wild rice.
I even have pictures this time, though it doesn't look as yummy as it was :/

I should really start doing something against this ... srsly.

Well, at least I was productive in some way or another and did my work sheet for that one class on wednesday ... and it was as crappy as reading Donna Haraway's text about Cyborgs, because it's actually based on it.
Plus it's effing theoretical and not to mention in Japanese. Woho. Though the Japanese wasn't that bad to be honest, but well ... sucked none the less.

Oh my sister came over yesterday and I made her eat the left over muffins from the night before and then I tried a friends casserole recipe, but it didn't turn out that well :/
I guess it was, because I kinda fucked up the souce, since I was one the phone meanwhile ... meeh. But it's still eatable.

And I kinda deceided to sell my J-Rock/Visual Kei stuff and some clothes, cause I hardly listen to them/wear them anymore so yeah ... it would be a pity to just let them collect dust in my cupboards.



Okay and now I'll try to be reasonable and go to bed ... it's past 6 am anyway =,=v

Anyway ... so it was my turn on the sweet part on todays bento (snap! I forgot to take pictures!!!), which consisted of Mousse au chocolate with cinnamon and apple cinnamon compote!
Har and it was soo damn good!

Yesterday I made a quick bento, which was just the Spaghetti Bolognese from the evening before ... and I made two people eat and - mind you - LIKE IT, who don't even like Bolognese at all =D
I'm so proud of my cooking skills~

And now I'm waiting for my rice to get done, so I can make some fried rice with meat and eggs ... or whatever I find in my fridge ôo

There's some stuff you should NEVER try out yourself ... srsly.

Which includes Michelle Phan's make-up tips. They're a real no go - at least for me.
I mean, make-up tips for ppl who wear glasses are essential for me, seeing as I myself wear - tada you guess it - glasses, but how should it work out, if the one posting the tip doesn't know the huge ass difference it makes, if you're near-sighted (like me) or long-sighted.
Especially if they wear fake glasses in the tutorial ...
Result: Make-up looks shitty as hell on me ... and I'm by far not THAT ugly I dare to say >_>'

Rambling aka Post #2

So it finally happened! =D

A few hours after posting for the first time in like forever, I'm about to ramble and go all out - or maybe just semi-out ... hurrdurr.

Maybe you've read it already on my FB account the last few days, but I've to read a specialized text called 'Cyborg Manifesto' by Donna Haraway and belive it or not - I. DON'T. GET. A. SINGLE. FUCK!
Problem with this homework is, we have to do a text analysis, which I just ... can't.
So now I'm sitting here procrastinating like shit, watching Samurai Jack on Cartoon Network and trying to get my arse up once again and just DO my work.

Also I need to write my letter of motivation, which is necessary for my exchange year application to Japan's - tadaaaaah - Hosei Daigaku, Meiji Daigaku or ... a third, which I haven't decided on yet. Exitement max!
I'm really all hyped up about going to Japan for a year, but then again ... it's a frigging YEAR - a total of ten to twelve month for gods sake!! I'm so worried that my granny will die or something during this time ...
Yeah, yeah I know, bloody angsty vibe comin' up now ...

What else?
Nothing much I guess ... just finished off a big container of Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia and now I'm all fine - more or less.
So I might as well finish this pointless post and just try to finish off my work and go to bed, seeing as it's nearly 1 am anyway. Booh.

It's been a while since I wrote a blog, but I suddenly felt like it again, so here I am - with a brand new, not so sleek 'n' shiny blog!

P.S.: If you wondered, why my blog's named Dairyomi ...
It's a wordplay - more or less - coming from the dai of daigaku (大学), which means university, ryou from ryouri (料理) - cooking and mi from yomi (黄泉) which actually means underworld and also is the nickname I go by and am known for for the past few years in Austria.
